    Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed some feedback about ads on the links I’ve been sharing, and I totally get the frustration. Nobody wants to deal with intrusive advertising when they’re just trying to access useful content. Here’s how you can set up uBlock Origin across all your devices to create a much cleaner browsing experience.

    Desktop/Laptop Setup

    Chrome, Edge, Opera:

    • Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for “uBlock Origin”
    • Click “Add to Chrome” and confirm the installation
    • The extension icon will appear in your toolbar

    Firefox:

    • Go to Firefox Add-ons and search for “uBlock Origin”
    • Click “Add to Firefox” and allow the installation
    • You’ll see the shield icon in your address bar

    Safari:

    • uBlock Origin isn’t available, but you can use “AdGuard for Safari” or “1Blocker” as alternatives
    • Download from the Mac App Store and follow setup instructions

    Mobile Devices

    Android:

    • Firefox Mobile: Install Firefox, then add uBlock Origin from the add-ons menu
    • Chrome: Unfortunately, Chrome mobile doesn’t support extensions, but you can use Brave Browser (built-in ad blocking) or install a system-wide solution like Blokada
    • Samsung Internet: Supports extensions including uBlock Origin

    iPhone/iPad:

    • Install Firefox Focus (basic ad blocking) or use Safari with content blockers like AdGuard or 1Blocker from the App Store
    • For system-wide blocking, consider AdGuard Pro or NextDNS

    Router-Level Solution

For the most comprehensive approach, consider setting up Pi-hole on your home network or using a DNS service like NextDNS. This blocks ads for every device connected to your network without requiring individual app installations.

    Quick Configuration Tips

Once installed, uBlock Origin works immediately with default settings. For power users, you can enable additional filter lists in the settings for even better protection against tracking and annoyances.

Thanks for your patience with the ad situation, and I hope this helps improve your browsing experience when checking out shared links. Let me know if you run into any issues with the setup process.
