M3gan 2.0 possible possession

In the new trailer for M3gan 2.0 there is a scene where Megan uses an implant to control Gemma’s body so that Gemma can defend herself from what I assume are the villain’s henchmen. I wouldn’t be surprised if at the end of the film Megan uses the implant to permanently take control of Gemma’s body. Or that she uses the implant to make a switch, trapping Gemma in a robotic body, while she becomes Cady’s mother.

There are 2 instances
First one:
Gemma is given a chip to control her body by the main villain, however Megan hacks into it, giving her the ability to pilot Gemma’s body. Later in the movie during a fight Gemma is knocked unconscious, but Megan uses her body to fight the remaining dolls like a puppet. At the very end we see Megan is able to speak using Gemma’s voice. Very brief all in all.
Second one:
AMELIA the other killer robot is made using code from Megan. While Megan is believed to be dead, they hack into Amelia and boot up Megan 1 in Amelias body for a very brief fight.
