That night trolling for dick at bars had been incredible, and I told Tom I wanted to do it again as soon as possible. But he had other ideas. “Set up a night out with some of your girl friends.” So I did, even though it seemed like it would be boring by comparison. I mean, I love catching up with my friends, but this would be Tom steering the conversation. Oh, and they might share some things that Tom doesn’t know yet. Like wild nights back in college. I didn’t know it yet, but that’s precisely what my husband had in mind, because he had access to all my memories, and he’d focused on one memory in particular. A night where Staci and I had been a little too drunk, and almost kissed. I was sure she wanted to, and if I hadn’t been so attached to my straightness, I might have. We’ll Tom had no such misgivings on this girls’ night I’d set up. From inside my body, he flirted shamelessly with Staci, so much so that my other friends joked that we should get a room. And Tom had simply smiled at Staci and said, “Your place or mine.” We’d left together, and now we’re here on Staci’s bed, almost naked, and I’m finding out how soft my friend’s lips are. I’ve never been attracted to women, but my husband is so into this, which makes me into it. I am. I’m so into all of it.
